surrender is measured in the decisions that we make every second of every day.
The genuineness of our relationship with the Lord is fleshed out in the
multitude of decisions that we make that are consistent with the leading of the
Holy Spirit and the Lord’s will for us, as revealed in Scripture. Our decisions
reflect whether our trust is in God or in “self.” If our trust is in ourselves,
we are likely to find that we are disobedient to the Lord’s perfect will for
our lives and are not living the surrendered lives that the Lord would have us
to live on this earth.
